Dr. Michael Best
Michael Best, Ph.D, C.Psych, is a Professor at the University of Toronto Scarborough. He works in the Department of Psychology conducting research that focuses on improving the efficacy of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for psychosis (CBT-p) and Congitive Remediation Therapy for psychosis.
Research Focus
Dr. Best specializes in working with people experiencing serious mental illness (e.g., schizophrenia, psychotic disorders, and bipolar disorder) to help lessen symptoms and promoted recovery.
He is an active psychotherapy researched who is currently conducting multiple large-scale clinical trials for psychotherapies for serious mental health conditions.
